Okay, i did not manage to get my boots.

Last Saturday was really eventful.

I woke up at 9.30am which is considered quite early for my standard, washed up etc. and decided to do work. Then i texted YL to meet up with her. She wanted to get boots (coincidentally!) so we met up in Oxford Street along with Kim. I went into Aldo, started looking for the SALE rack - by the way, i so love sales now because i can find really cheap bargains without being squeezed like a sardine in shops! - and found one that i really like which is in brown. Its 69.98 pounds after discount so i told the sales people i'll think about it. Later when i went out of the shop i purposely texted my mum to get her permission. She said okay so everything was set. Then i went into another branch and decided that i'll take the black one instead since i already had a pair of brown boots. I proceeded to pay, took out 70 pounds and even asked the sales guy how to take care of suede boots. THEN, the lady at the counter told me its 100 pounds.

Geez. This is so absurd! Its the same design and everything except for the COLOUR. I'm not going to pay 100 pounds! But surprisingly when i told mum today she reacted by saying that "But boots aren't that cheap right?"

So i left the shop with disappointment without my boots ...

Later, after we went to M&S and Primark - i got my weighing scale (!!!) to ahem ... monitor my weight and a pair of bedroom slippers in baby blue - Kim and i decided to take a bus home. We saw Bus 23 (we vowed to never take that freakingly stupid bus again!) and hopped on without checking for which direction it was going.

HA HA.

After we realised that the bus was going in the wrong direction, we figured the most we would lose is time. We sat in the bus, watching Nottinghill Gate and other unknown areas passed by in front of our eyes and suddenly, the bus stopped and one guy came up to where we were sitting and shouted, "Girls! Last stop!"

So we ended up in Westbourne Park which is in Zone 2. Having gone through all this and wasted so much time, we wanted to take the tube home. So we took the pink line (haha! you will never find this in Zone 1!) to Edgware Road to change to the circle line. BUT, there was a delay for the circle line and we mistakenly took the tube back to the direction which we were coming from. Haha we even went one stop further than Westbourne Park!

Thankfully after this everything was okay again. We wasted almost two hours getting lost in London!

And the day got better later when we went out for Four Seasons in Bayswater. Yum yumm.

Yesterday's service was a good one it was simply amazing! Not only did they sing most of my favourite songs (Lord of Lords and Amazing Grace !!!), they invited a guest speaker Christine Caine from Sydney who was really wonderful! Don't you just love the feeling of not expecting anything initially but ending up with so much in return? Her faith and passion for Christ is really something to be marvelled at :)

That pretty much sums up my day. Ooh and i managed to finish all my work by 11.30 yesterday!

Shit. I really have to read more now. I keep getting writer's block! Damn it!
